40mm Stainless Steel Wire Keyring with Screw Lock

This flexible wire keyring provides an alternative to a conventional split ring for attaching keys, engraved tags and sample swatches. Made from 2mm stainless-steel wire rope, it measures approximately 40mm across when closed and opens to a total length of approximately 127mm.

How the Screw Connector Works

One end of the wire screws into the threaded metal connector to form a closed loop. To add or remove an item, unscrew the connector, pass the wire through the fixing hole and tighten it again by hand.

The flexible cable can be threaded through items that may be awkward to fit onto a rigid split ring. Check the connector periodically during use and retighten it if necessary.

Checking Compatibility

The connector is wider than the 2mm cable, so the fixing hole in the key, tag or swatch must be at least 3.5mm in diameter. Check both the hole size and the available space around it before ordering.

The stated 40mm measurement is the approximate diameter of the loop when closed. The usable internal space will vary according to the number and thickness of the items fitted.
